PM Oli’s bottom-line on cabinet reshuffle

Kathmandu, 17 September: Prime Minister and NCP chairman KP Sharma Oli has informed to another party chairman Pushpakamal Dahal about his bottom-line for the reshuffle of the cabinet.

Oli has said that he will not include Bamdev Gautam and Narayankaji Shrestha in the cabinet reshuffle. Accordingly, Oli has informed that ministers Rambahadur Thapa and Ishwor Pokhrel will not be ousted from his cabinet, reports Jana Aastha vernacular weekly.

Likewise, the PM has planned to say goodbye to around seven to ten ministers. There is the possibility of ousting of three cabinet ministers. The constitution has not allowed increasing the size of the cabinet above 25 members. Therefore, PM Oli is planning to add three full ministers by ousting three cabinet ministers. Also, Oli is planning to split some ministries to adjust three new ministers.

Currently, there are 22 ministries and Oli is planning to add three ministries by splitting some ministries.

PM Oli has given gesture to Dahal that he is not going to oust Pradeep Gyawali and Barshaman Pun from his cabinet.

Among the new faces, Devendra Poudel and Pampha Bhushal can be included, reports Jana Aastha weekly.
