Kathmandu, 27 September: The Nepal Army has opened a track to Kalapani by destroying the rocky mountain at Ghatibagar in Byas. The Army had started construction of the 550-meter long track on 22 May.
When India encroached Nepali territory and started construction of a motorable road, Nepali citizens in Chhangrung and Tinkar in Byas Rural Municipality were facing problem in travelling each other village and district headquarters Khalanga.
Now, local people can travel to the district headquarters without any hurdles from the Indian security personnel.
