Cabinet reshuffle delayed due to difference on chairmen duo’s share in cabinet

Kathmandu, 28 September: When chairmen duo of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Sharma Oli and Pushpakamal Dajal Prachanda are trying to assign their own men on important cabinet portfolios, the said cabinet reshuffle has been delayed, reports Rajdhani daily.
Prachanda is demanding important portfolios including the communications ministry, along with the responsibility of the government spokesman for his faction, on which, Oli is taking a stance.
Accordingly, to adjust more ministers, Oli is planning to split some ministries against the constitutional spirit.
Almost every day Prime Minister Oli and co-chairman Prachanda are holding meetings at Baluatar but they have not been able to reach to the conclusion. On Friday also, the two chairmen held a two-hour-long meeting, yet, they were unable to find a conclusion.
