Kathmandu, 3 September: The Nepal Communist Party’s chairmen duo PM KP Sharma Oli and Pushpakamal Dahal are divided on the nomination of the national assembly member.
Amidst dispute on the nomination of the national assembly member, the NCP secretariat meeting is going to be held today at 11 am at PM’s official residence Baluatar.
Today’s meeting is supposed to discuss and decide on the national assembly member.
PM Oli has wished to re-nominate Yubraj Khatiwada and give continue to him as the finance minister, whereas, the party secretariat has given the directive to nominate party’s vice chairman Bamdev Gautam as the national assembly member.
When Oli denied the party secretariat decision, the party faced months-long dispute heading the party towards a possible split. Now, again, the party has returned to the same point from where the dispute was started.
