Kathmandu, 6 September: The anti-establishment group in the Nepali Congress has decided to put phase-wise pressure on party president Sher Bahadur Deuba to correct his recent decisions in the party. The virtual meeting of the anti-establishment group in the Nepali Congress held on Saturday has asked Deuba to take back the decisions made by him against the party statute. The meeting has given one week’s ultimatum to Deuba to correct his illegal works.
The virtual meeting was attended by senior leader Ramchandra Poudel, general secretary Shashank Koirala, leaders Prakashman Singh, Arjunnarsingh KC, Sekhar Koirala, Ramsharan Mahat, Mahesh Acharya, Dhanraj Gurung, Chandra Bhandari, Namindraraj Joshi, Gagan Thapa, Guru Ghimira, Pradeep Poudel, Kalyan Gurung, Umakanta Chaudhari, among others.
When President Deuba formed and expanded the party’s central departments one-sidedly, his rival group has become furious against him, reports Ratopati online portal.
