Kathmandu, 7 September: Three chief district officers of the Kathmandu Valley have observed that to control and prevent coronavirus pandemic, the prohibitory period in the Valley should be continued until the Dasain festival (end of October) and deployment of the Nepal Army Personnel at the passes entering the Valley.
Chief district administration officers from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur have remarked at the sub-committee meeting of the Education and Health Committee in the Parliament on Sunday.
Kathmandu CDO Janakraj Dahal said that to totally control the movement of people from other districts, the Nepal Army personnel should be deployed at the passes entering the Valley.
Every day, two thousand people are entering into the Valley, he said.
