Three dozen constitutional posts vacant, delayed in appointments

Kathmandu, 18 September: due to the clash of interests between the ruling and main opposition parties, the appointment of around three dozen constitutional positions has been delayed.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and main opposition party leader Sher Bahadur Deuba have held several rounds of meetings, yet, they have not been able to finalize the names.
The Constitutional Council has to recommend the names to be appointed in the constitutional bodies. As the ruling party and the main opposition party leaders have not been able to finalize their share in such appointments, the appointment process has been delayed.
There will be a major role of the prime minister and the leader of the main opposition party, reports Sanghu online portal.
