Siblings arrested on the charge of incest in Solukhumbu

Province 1, Solukhumbu, Mahakulung - #GBV, Police on Wednesday arrested a 23-year-old youth and 19-year-old sister from Mahakulung Municipality on the basis of a complaint lodged by their mother that they were about to commit incest by marrying each other.   According to the police, the brothers and sisters have admitted that they were getting married as they have had sexual intercourse and agreed to leave the village if necessary.
