Kathmandu, 10 September: Nepal Communist Party chairmen duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpakamal Dahal have developed an understanding to run the government and party by sharing power, whereas, senior leader Madhav Nepal has been cornered.
On Wednesday, after a meeting between Oli and Dahal, party general secretary Bishnu Poudel has sent an agenda paper to all the party Standing Committee members to discuss at the Standing Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow.
The agenda paper is based on the task force report on ending the prolonged dispute in the party.
As per the agenda, Oli will continue as the prime minister for the full term of five years and Dahal will work as the executive chairman of the party.
Accordingly, the two leaders agreed to reshuffle the cabinet.
Meanwhile, senior leader Madhav Nepal’s agenda of ‘one person one post’ has been cornered after the agreement between the chairmen-duo.
Nevertheless, a leader in Nepal camp said that still there is an understanding between Dahal and Nepal on continuing the alliance between them.
