Efforts to assign Gautam and Shrestha as ministers

Kathmandu, 18 September: The Nepal Communist Party Secretariat meeting is going to take place today at party headquarters Perish Danda in Kathmandu.
Today’s meeting may pave the way to make party vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam and spokesman Narayankaji Shrestha as the ministers. If the party Secretariat will take such a decision, Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli will face pressure.
To recall, Oli is not in a mood to include those MPs in the cabinet who had defeated the parliament elections
Both Gautam and Shrestha had defeated the elections to the post of the member of the parliament, however, they have entered in the parliament through the party Secretariat’s decision.
After continuous efforts from party’s co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal and senior leader Madhav Nepal, finally, KP Oli was compelled to nominate Gautam as the National Assembly member by dropping his finance minister Yubraj Khatiwada.
Now, the very leaders are making efforts in the party to make Gautam and Shrestha as the ministers. Such a plan of the leaders is considered as the move to isolate Oli in the party.
