Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to reshuffle his government by the end of next week, sources in the ruling Nepal Communist Party say.
Earlier, a task force formed by the two chairmen of the party to suggest solutions to the party dispute had recommended the cabinet reshuffle so as to maintain a balance between different factions of the party. Following the report submission, the months-long dispute between Oli and another chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has ended.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Urban Development for the past few months. Further, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada is also losing his position in the next two days. Therefore, Oli is almost certain to induct at least three new ministers in his cabinet.
Further, he is also pondering removing a few ministers who failed to meet his expectations and induct other leaders of the party as ministers.
