Bamdev Gautam’s fate to be decided today

Kathmandu, 14 September: Whether Bamdev Gautam will become the National Assembly member or not, it will be decided by this evening.
Party chairmen duo KP Oli and Pushpakamal Dahal are holding a meeting today. Then after, the cabinet meeting may endorse the decision to nominate Gautam to the National Assembly and recommend to the President.
Still, Oli is not in a mood to reward Gautam with a ministerial portfolio even after giving him an entry in the Parliament, reports Jana Aastha online edition.
Oli believes that article 78 is the obstacle for making the minister to those candidates who have defeated the elections. On the other hand, Dahal is claiming that when a defeated candidate can enter the parliament, why a parliament member cannot be the minister!
The Nepal Communist Party has decided to nominate Gautam to the National Assembly by violating the constitutional provision of the nomination of NA member from the experts’ group.
Gautam had defeated the election for the member of the parliament.
