Kathmandu, 25 October: Shankar Pokhrel, the Chief Minister of Lumbini State has claimed that Samant Kumar Goyel, Chief of India’s foreign Intelligence Agency, R&AW, visited Nepal as a messenger of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Standing Committee member and very close to Prime Minister Khadga Oli, Pokhrel has defended Oli’s meeting with foreign spy head with dissatisfaction over widespread criticism of Oli.
Breaching all diplomatic protocols, Oli met with Goyel at a time when the country is waiting for dialogue at political and diplomatic level to resolve the longstanding border dispute, among others.
