Kathmandu, 30 October: The District Police Office Morang has confirmed the arrest of two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led group, Nepal Communist Party.
Acting on a tip-off, a team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Bigyan Rai aka Sanam (18) of Chulachuli Ilam and Kashinath Ghimire aka Prateek (32) of Surunga municipality 2, Saptari were apprehended.
Police have recovered arms, ammunition, explosives, political documents and logistics. Preliminary investigation showed that Ghimire is a company commissioner of Biplav-led CPN Eastern Command Mechi-Koshi Bureau Fourth Company and Rai is a general member of the party, according to police.
