Kathmandu, 29 October: Internal dispute in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has resurfaced again. The chairman duo Khadga Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have not remained in contact for the past one week. On Wednesday party’s secretary general Bishnu Poudel and standing committee member Subash Nembang urged Dahal to resolve crisis, but Dahal denied, according to Kantipur Daily.
Dahal is reported to be irritated with Oli for his unilateral decision on recommending Ambassadors, rejig of Cabinet and meeting with the Chief of R&AW, a recent separate circulars issued by Oli and Dahal to resolve the crisis of Karnalis Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi is also indicative of heightening dispute. Dahal is also dissatisfied with the government as one of party’s Cadres was murdered in Parsa on October 22 and no action has been taken so far. Dahal add to issue yet another statement urging the Government to take necessary legal action against the culprit.
