Kathmandu turning Covid-19 hotspot

Kathmandu, 31 October: The Kathmandu valley has turned into the biggest Covid-19 hotspot according to latest data provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Kathmandu district alone has recorded 60,742 Covid-19 cases so far while 212 people have died of the deadly virus. Kathmandu district alone has 42.34% of total active cases in the country.

Kathmandu district has still 16,242 active cases and the Kathmandu Valley has so far registered 333 Covid-19 related deaths-212 in Kathmandu 63 in Bhaktapur and 58 in Lalitpur.
