Kathmandu, 9 October: Though, The Chairmen of the ruling Nepal Communist Party(NCP) Khadga Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have been discussing a cabinet reshuffle for over a month now, no decision has been taken as they fail to forge consensus in the meeting held on Thursday afternoon.
According to media reports, Dahal is for re calling all the ministers and then making fresh appointments. Oli has refused his proposal outright. Oli is in mood of appointing finance, Communication and Information Technology and Urban Development Minister first.
Subash Nembang, A Standing Committee says there is less chances of cabinet reshuffle taking place before the festivals.
Prachanda has been consistently demanding the portfolio of finance and Communication and Information Technology to the erstwhile Maoist Center which is denied by Oli. He wants to appoint his henchmen to those portfolios from ex-CPN-UML.
