Kathmandu, 26 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 4,499 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. Among the infected 1064 are males and 677 are females With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 159,830.
Among the new cases detected today, 895 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 4,005 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 115,675. As of today, there are 43,293 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 15 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 862, according to MoHP
