Kathmandu, 13 September: The Nepal Health Investigation Council has decided to conduct a clinical trial of the Ayurvedic medicines on Covid-19 infected patients in No 5 Province.
The trial is going to be conducted under the leadership of Professor Dr Bishundayal Prasad Patel, lecturer and research consultant of the Ayurveda Campus. The medicine is prepared from local herbs. The medicine will be used on 50 patients as a trial.
Ayurvedic experts have claimed that this is not a new trial as different Ayurvedic hospitals have already used such medicines on the Covid-19 patients and they have recovered their health very fast. The Ayurvedic medicines help to strengthen the immune system in the human body, they have claimed.
