Kathmandu, 22 October: Senoir journalist Madhav Kumar Rimal has passed away. He was 96.
Rimal was publisher and Editor-in-Chief of popular fortnightly new magazine, Spotlight. He served as Joint Zonal Commissioner of Koshi Zone. He was in foreign service for almost a decade and served as Consul-General to Dhaka in the then east-Pakistan.He was the last journalist to interview king Birendra when the royal family was killed in 2001, June. He is survived by five children.
