Teenager arrested on rape charge from Kapilbastu

Province 5, Kapilbastu, Banganga, Ward 9 - #GBV, Police have arrested 17-year-old youth of Banganga, Municipality-9, Kapilbastu, on October 6, on a charge of raping a 26-year-old woman. The victim’s family had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Pipra on October 6, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on October 5. Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Kapilbastu Hospital, Taulihawa, on October 6.Inspector Dinesh Gurung of the Area Police Office, Pipra, said that legal action against the accused has been taken by registering the case of rape on October 7.
