Former King expresses dissatisfaction on the government performance

Kathmandu, 23 October: Former King Gyanendra, in his Dasain greetings to all Nepalis, has wished for good health, happiness and prosperity of all the citizens within the country and abroad.

Meanwhile, in the message, the former King has expressed his dissatisfaction against the government decision for not providing free treatment to the Covid-19 infected patients.

The former King has remarked that such a decision has made the Nepali citizens guardianless.

He has drawn the attention of the political leaderships saying that a nation will be alive only if the people will remain alive and politics will be alive if the nation remains alive. 

Citing the present crisis created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the former King has remarked that a guardian’s capability and status will be exhibited only during the crisis period. Viewing present performance of the government, it seems, all the Nepalis have felt like an orphan, he has remarked. 

He has also blamed the political leaderships for encouraging individualism and groupism by discouraging coordination, goodwill and co-action and opined that such an act will not help to achieve a stable, strong and satisfactorily environment. 

He has expressed dissatisfaction against the government for being failed in performing a guardian’s role in providing relief, employment to the citizens affected by the pandemic and providing free treatment to the infected citizens. 

He has also expressed serious concern on skyrocketing and scarcity of the essential comedies and incline on criminal activities.
