Elderly man arrested on charge of rape in Salyan

Province 6, Salyan, Chhatreshwori, Ward 7 - #GBV, Police arrested a 70-year-old man from Tushare of Chhatreswori Rural Municipality-7 on October 17 on the charge of raping a 55-year-old woman. The victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Salyan on October 18, said Inspector Laxman Oli, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Salyan.  The health examination of the victim was conducted at the Health Service Office, Salyan on the night of October 17, said Dasharath Shrestha, Chief of the Health Service Office.
