Ruling- opposition party meet today

Kathmandu, 17 September: The top leaders of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and major opposition party regarding contemporary issues including appointment to vacant posts of constitutional commissions is taking place today.

A meeting held between Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party, Khadga Oli, and Executive Chairperson of the NCP, Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday decided to hold a meeting with top leaders of opposition party along with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for today, according to Deputy-Leader of the NCP Parliamentary Party, Subas Chandra Nembang.

Process of the appointment to vacant posts would be forwarded after discussion between the government and ruling party at a time when posts of Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, some commissioners of constitutional bodies including Election Commission, vice-chancellor and office-bearers of some universities have remained vacant.
