Kathmandu, 21 September: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ramchandra Poudel, who is doubtful on the party national convention on the given schedule, has proposed to hold the party national convention by recognizing the old list of the party’s national council representatives.
Poudel said that the party’s 14th national convention should be held on the scheduled date by recognizing the national council representatives for the 13th national convention. Poudel is preparing to submit such a proposal at the party central committee meeting.
“As an environment against the national convention is developing, who will be the party president, the question can be raised after expire of the tenure of the present party central committee,” Poudel has expressed concern, reports Rajdhani daily.
