Kathmandu, 5 October: The chairmen duo of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have requested the president of the main opposition party, Nepali Congree(NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba to halt the ongoing protest in Butwal.
In a telephone conversation with Deuba, NCP Chairman Khadga Prasad Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have requested the NC leadership to direct its cadres to halt the protest.
NC sister organizations have been protesting against the decision of NCP proposing Deukhuri of Dang as the Capital of State 5.
