Hanky-panky on LG products

Kathmandu, 8 September: The Chaudhari Group had acquired the sole dealership of South Korea’s prestigious brand LG electronic products.

The Group is also producing electronic products with local brand CG.

Factory of both the companies is in Satungal. The Group is found assembling electronic products with Korean LG brand by importing cheap electronic products from China, say technicians and staffers in the factory.

At the time of the visit of the South Korean LG company officials, the Group keeps Korean LG products by replacing the duplicate products.

The fact is that the Korean company gives a certain amount to the Chaudhari Group against the sole dealership. The amount received from the Korean company is enough for all the staff and management expenditure, the very staffers say.

Meanwhile, the Chaudhari Group is producing CG Cement by establishing a factory in Sardeba, Palpa. Locals have a complaint that the factory is using all Indian workers by neglecting local labourers. There are around two thousand workers in the factory, reports Jana Aastha online portal.
