Kathmandu, 18 July: Nepal government has sent a diplomatic note to India to stop physical constructions in the border area by the Indian side.
Nepal is facing floods due to the illegal construction in the Indian side, which has blocked the natural flow of rivers.
India has constructed embankments and roads in the Indian side which has blocked the flow of rivers.
Rabindranath Shrestha, secretary at the Energy Ministry informed that the Ministry had written a letter to the Foreign Ministry to take a necessary move to stop illegal construction in the Indian side.
Following the Energy Ministry’s letter, the Foreign Ministry has sent the diplomatic note to India, reports Kantipur daily.
