Nepal sends a reply to India

Kathmandu, 30 July: The Darchula District Administration Office, following an instruction from the Home Ministry, has sent a reply to the Indian administration office in Dharchula stating that there is no need to issue a notice to the Nepali citizens to visit Nepal’s territory.
The local administration office has stated that Kuti, Navi, Gunji, Limpiyadhura in Kalapani are the Nepali territory and thus Nepalis are authorised to visit these areas.
In a letter signed by Teksingh Kunwar, chief district officer in Darchula, it is stated that according to the historical evidence these territory belongs to Nepal.
Earlier, the Dharchula District Office in India had sent a letter to the Darchula District Administration in Nepal asking to stop Nepalis visiting the territory claiming that it belonged to India.
