Kathmandu, 31 July: As the government organs have neglected market monitoring, middlemen and brokers are found skyrocketing vegetable price by above five folds.
Questions have been raised on the government’s silence on skyrocketing the vegetable price. Doubts have been created on whether the government monitoring authorities also supporting the middlemen and brokers!
Green vegetables that were available in the market at 30 to 40 rupees per kg are being sold at up to 120 rupees.
Middlemen, who are involved in vegetable business have raised the vegetable price saying that floods and landslides have caused the supply of the vegetables, reports Rajdhani daily.
