Kathmandu, 22 July : The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DoHM) has issued flood alerts across major river basins in the country, and inside Kathmandu valley, as it has forecast heavy rain and thundershowers until Friday.
The DoHM has alerted the general public, specially those inhabitants of the river basins to be cautious of looming extreme events, raise awareness and prepare for better response and minimise the damage.
