Kathmandu, 22 July: The government has lifted months-long lockdown from this morning.
The government had announced lockdown when there were only two Covid-19 infected cases and ended at a time when the latest number of infliction is around 20 thousand. Experts are demanding to conduct PCR rests at large, whereas, the government has instructed for not conducting PCR tests without seeing any symptoms.
In India, the Covid-19 infection rate is at an alarming level and migration of people from India has not been stopped due to the open border with India.
Soon, the government is planning to resume long-distance transportation, air services, among others.
It seems, the government has failed to manage the pandemic, thus, has planned to conduct fewer tests.
