Oli, Dahal, Nepal agreed to resume standing committee meeting, calling central committee to finalize present dispute

Kathmandu, 17 July: The tripartite meeting among Prime Minister and Nepal Communist Party chairman KP Sharma Oli, co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal, and senior leader Madhav Nepal on Thursday ended without a conclusion.

When both the sides denied to perform flexibility on their stance, the meeting ended without a conclusion.

However, both the sides agreed to resume the standing committee meeting and calling the central committee meeting to decide on the ongoing dispute at the party.

The central committee holds the authority to recall party chairman and prime minister.

Along with the agreement for calling the central committee meeting, the dispute will remain pending till one month and both the sides will get the opportunity to play different strategy to bring the central committee members on their side.

On Thursday’s meeting also, Oli again denied tendering resignation from the post of the prime minister and party chairman, whereas, Dahal and Nepal demanded Oli’s resignation from both the posts.

Oli believes that Indians are playing to topple down his government and to finish his political career.

Recently,  a report on Oli’s billions of rupees worth deposit in a Swiss Bank was produced. Oli’s secretariat has already declined the report.

It is learned that one school principal is found roaming to different media offices with the document comprised of scandals in which Oli is involved. Accordingly, Oli’s investment in different foreign companies in East Asia and China is also included in the document produced to defame Oli.
