Prohibition period likely to be extended until 31 August

Kathmandu, 25 August: The joint meeting of the chief district officers of three districts in the Kathmandu Valley is going to be held today to review on Covid-19 outbreak in the Valley. The meeting is likely to extend the prohibition period in the Valley until 31 August. Earlier, the joint meeting had imposed prohibition order until 26 August.
The meeting of the Valley Municipality Mayors’ Forum on Monday had decided to request the Valley administrators to extend the prohibition order further.
