Kathmandu, 28 August: Two rails along with engines and bogies purchased from India are supposed to arrive in Nepal before the second week of September.
The two rails have been brought to operate from Janakpur to Jayanagar. They were purchased from India at the government to government level.
Guru Bhattarai, general manager, Nepal Railway Company, informed that the two rails are arriving by the second week of September.
Presently, the rails are parked at Hajipur Station in Bihar. Due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, arrival of the rails has been delayed, he informed.
