Locals of ward 5 in Rangeli Municipality agitated against Ward Chairperson

Province 1, Morang, Rangeli, Ward 5 - #Governance, Locals of Ward-5 in Rangeli Municipality have started agitation against the assault on locals by police under the pretext of enforcing lockdown. Accusing the ward chairperson Mahananda Mandal of ordering the police to beat the locals, they burned his effigy and demanded his resignation. A meeting was held at local Aaamgachhi Police Post to resolve the issue but the locals are still agitating. Locals also picketed the police post against baton-charge against them.
