Kathmandu, 16 July: Three supreme leaders of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) — Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli, another chairman Pushpakamal Dahal and party’s senior leader Madhav Nepal – are holding a meeting today to find a common ground for saving the party from a split.
Wednesday’s one-on-one meeting between Oli and Dahal had ended without a conclusion. Therefore, a tripartite meeting has been called for today, one day earlier to the party standing committee meeting on Friday.
As PM Oli denied to quit from the post of the PM and party chairman, Dahal-Nepal camp is in dilemma on what the next step to be taken against Oli.
Oli has said that he will not quit both the posts, however, he is ready to respond to his rival group in other posts.
