Kathmandu, 26 November: Dr Rohitkumar Jha, medical practitioner at Mediciti Hospital in Nakhu, Lalitpur, is under the Police arrest on the charge of sexual assault, according to the Kantipur daily.
Jha was taken under the Police custody from the Hospital on Monday evening, said SSP Tekprasad Rai at the Lalitpur Metropolis Police.
According to SSP Rai, Dr Jha has been taken under the Police custody on the charge of rape attempt on a lady at the emergency ward of the Hospital. The lady had gone to the hospital for medical check-up on Sunday.
The lady had filed a case against Dr Jha at the Metropolis Police on Sunday.
