KATHMANDU: Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) reported a Covid-19 related death on Tuesday.
According to BPKIHS, an 18-year-old male of Triyuga Municipality-11 in Udayapur district passed away while undergoing treatment at the Covid Hospital of the Institute at 7:30 am today.
The deceased had been admitted to the health facility on December 26 after he tested positive for the contagion on the same day, informed hospital.
Preparations are being made for last rites of the deceased as per required health guidelines, added BPKIHS.
