Province 2 government today provided Rs one lakh each to families of four persons killed after they were struck by lightning.
Province 2 Minister of Land Managment, Agriculture and Cooperatives Sailendra Prasad Sah gave away cheques worth Rs one lakh each to members of the four victims at his contact office in Rajbiraj.
At the programme, Minister Sah provided one thermal gun each to all the schools in his constituency. Minister Sah said that he had provided one thermal gun each to the schools to check the temperature of students before they entered the school premises.
Nakchhedi Thakur, Bechan Yadav, Kesilal Sah and Lalita Devi Yadav were killed after they were struck by lightning in Saptari’s Mahadev Rural Municipality, Rajgadh Rural Municipality, and Dakneswori Municipality on June 29 last year.
Minister Sah gave away cheque worth Rs 1 lakh each to Nakchhedi’s wife Bina, Bechan’s wife Rubi, Kesilal’s wife Shiv Kumari and Lalita Devi’s son Bisan Prasad. Deceased Bechan Yadav’s wife Rubi said that the province government’s help had given some relief to them
