Security teams mobilized to enforece health protocols

Kathmandu, 14 August: As the infection and death rate of the Covid-19 is on the rise across the country, the government has stepped up monitoring of its decision to contain the outbreak of the coronavirus infection. It has mobilized five monitoring teams in Kathmandu and four each in Bhaktapur and Lalitpur to ramp up enforcement of the guidelines.

In order to ensure the effective enforcement of the Cabinet decisions for the prevention and control of the virus transmission, the  Ministry of Home Affairs has directed its subordinate bodies and all district administration offices across the country. All the security bodies and district administration offices are coordinating to enforce the public health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Population and security guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
