Kathmandu, 23 August: Amidst the increasing number of coronavirus cases across the country, scarcity of blood is looming unprecedentedly.
According to the Nepal Red Cross Society, it is facing a severe shortage of blood due to cancellation of a number of blood donation programmes owing to Covid-19 pandemic. Donors are unable to donate blood due to prohibitory orders in many parts of the country.
