Kathmandu, 2 August: Since Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli one-sidedly decided to postpone the party standing committee meeting last week, Oli and another party co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal are at no talking relations. The meeting of the Dahal-Nepal camp had authorized Dahal to find a common ground of agreement between Oli and Dahal to end the ongoing dispute in the party, yet, Dahal is unable to hold a meeting with Oli.
Party’s general secretary Bishnu Poudel is playing the role of the facilitator, however, he has not been able to find a ground of agreement between the two chairmen.
Oli is learnt to have sent a message via Poudel to resolve the disputed issue from the party secretariat. Dahal wants to discuss the issue in the party standing committee meeting.
Oli has indicated that he is not going to quit the PM’s post and also the party chairman’s post. Oli has already made clear that he will continue as the party chairman until the upcoming unity national convention and continue as the PM until the next general elections.
