Lidi landslip: 19 bodies retrieved, one rescued alive

Kathmandu, 17 August: Nineteen bodies have been recovered and a man has been rescued alive after 32 hours, in a massive landslide that hit Lidi village in Jugal Rural Municipality-2 of Sindhupalchok district on Friday morning.

Of the recovered bodies, four are of women, three of men, seven of minor boys and five of minor girls, according to Sindhupalchok District Administration Office.

A joint team of Nepali Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police is  searching other 20 locals who are still missing. Rescue operation is on going.
