Kathmandu, 18 August: As the Covid-19 infection rate is inclining at an alarming number in the Kathmandu Valley every day, concerned officials from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts are holding discussions for imposing curfew or lockdown in the Valley.
District Administration Office Kathmandu’s spokesman and sub-district officer Tulsiram Poudel said that the Covid-19 spread rate has inclined in the Valley due to lack of awareness among the people. Therefore, discussions are on to impose curfew or lockdown in the Valley to control the pandemic, he said.
He, however, said that considering the present situation, until now, there is no need to impose curfew or lockdown immediately, reports Gorkhapatra daily.
