Sexual Abuse Accused Arrested

Province 6, Jumla, Patrasi, Ward 6 - #GBV, #Children’sRights, Police have arrested Kamal Bista (23) of Patrashi rural municipality-6 Urthu on 16 June 2020 in accusation of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl.The victim was abused on 15 June and the complaint was filed on the same day at the District Police Office after which the accused was arrested, informed Inspector Rajendra Chand.Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 16 June at Karnali Health Science Academy Teaching Hospital, Jumla.The accused was drunk and had abused her when she was in the shop, informed the victim’s family members in a phone conversation with INSEC’s representative.Mandatta Rawal
