Kathmandu,29 June : The government has informed that the swarms of locusts that entered Nepal on Saturday have not caused any substantial damage to the country’s crops.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, issuing a statement has stated that the size of swarms of locusts that entered several districts of Nepal is small and has caused barely any damage. Locusts invaded five Terai districts including Bara, Parsa, Rupandehi, Sarlahi and Sindhuli.
