NCP Standing Committee meeting without agenda
Kathmandu, 25 June: The Nepal Communist Part Standing Committee meeting held on 24 June will continue for some more days.
The meeting was held without agenda due to dispute between the two party chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda.
The meeting, however, will hold discussion on contemporary issues including Covid-19 pandemic, Kalapani territory and India’s attitude, citizenship bill, MCC, among others.
Yesterday, the two leaders Oli and Dahal addressed the meeting. Oli lauded works done by the government in spite of non-cooperation of the party, whereas, Dahal blamed the government for not working as per the party’s guideline. Senior leader Madhav Nepal blamed the leadership in the government for being involved in unpopular works from which the party has become unpopular.
