Man arrested on charge of rape in Parbat

Province 4, Parbat, Jaljala, Ward 4 - #GBV, Police have arrested Rabin GC (32) of Jaljala rural municipality-4 in accusation of raping a 22-year-old woman. The victim was raped on 29 May 2020 at Jaljala rural municipality-7 Dhairing and the complaint was filed on 19 June 2020 at the District Police Office. In a phone conversation with INSEC’s representative, the victim informed that after raping her, the accused was also publicizing it. The accused was arrested on 21 June and the court has given seven days for investigation, informed inspector Buddhi Prasad Subedi. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 19 June at District Hospital of Parbat.
