Covid-19 infected at cattle shed, speaker riding expensive vehicle

Kathmandu, 3 June: Nepal is recorded as one among the poorest countries in the globe, that apart, Karnali Province is known as the poorest province in the country.

Due to the political perversion and lack of necessary fund in the Karnali Province, labourers returning from India are compelled to stay in isolation at the cattle shed, whereas, the province assembly’s speaker from the same province is raiding vehicle worth 1. 72 million rupees, reports Naya Patrika daily.

The Financial Affairs Ministry of the Province has denied to pay the bill saying that purchase of such an expensive vehicle beyond the capacity of the Province but the speaker has already started to ride the vehicle brought from Kathmandu.

On the other hand, when four persons in Bhairabi Rural Municipality in Dailekh were detected Covid-19 positive on the RDT test, they have kept at the cattle shed in the name of isolation.
